We at Leather Magic understand what it means to be a service provider. Leather Magic was formed from more than 30 years of working experience providing repair and restoration services for both commercial and consumer accounts. To this day, we still operate a small service department within our facilities.  This Service Department enables us to continually check  the functionality of our products, make any adjustments that may be required, but most importantly, keep us abreast of the latest styles of materials used in the manufacture of automotive and furniture upholstery and trim. In this manner, we can provide you with up-to-date products and techniques that you, as a service provider, need to maintain the integrity of your business.

The story of Leather Magic! began in 1979 when one of the original founders of Leather Magic began operating a small, one-man service business. The objective was to provide repair services to the automotive dealership market that mimicked the original materials, leaving a repaired area that was permanent and resembled the look and functionality of the original material.  This objective was rather difficult to accomplish at that time since the repair chemicals and techniques were still in the infancy stages which brought about the need of being highly creative and inventive.  So, a diligent search began for the finest restoration products in the market. Every conceivable product from every possible source was tried and experimented with in order to meet this goal.  These products were then combined to provide the quality and ease of use that is so necessary in  our business.

From the very beginning, the philosophy that drives Leather Magic! has been to dramatically improve our industry.  We have never "just accepted what was available" nor relied upon a select few suppliers or individuals within our industry.  We formed a close, personal relationship with suppliers, customers and service providers within the industry to obtain the most accurate and concise information and operations of the industry.  We became actively involved by performing training seminars for numerous suppliers and organizations within the industry and provided advice and consulting which led to the introduction of new products and techniques that are currently offered by these suppliers.

Our experience did not stop there.  We successfully operated the largest service provider company on the east coast with more than 25 mobile technicians servicing every type of customer. This company, known as Dyna-Trim Inc., became the foundation of the Leather Magic! organization. Dyna-Trim Inc. was ultimately was sold in 2001 which provided an opportunity to devote our full attention to the products and services provided by Leather Magic.  The experiences gained from the operation of this enterprise provided Leather Magic! with the skills and knowledge required to advance to the next level; to distribute the products and techniques that provide permanent, invisible repairs to leather, vinyl and cloth products. All of our products have been developed for the specific purpose of providing the best results in the shortest period of time. One of the most primary aspects of our products is their ease of use.  We fully understand the perils of hiring and training new technicians and the time restraints required before your company becomes profitable.  Leather Magic! systems have been designed to be easy to comprehend and master so that your technicians will become proficient and profitable in the shortest amount of time.  We at Leather Magic! are committed to providing time tested and proven products. One very unfortunate fact remained: Our industry was not ready for a change.  Most of the professional service providers were comfortable with their present method of service and the quality of workmanship they were providing.  They became content with the market that they had developed and did not see the need for improvement in order to expand their business and reputation.  As a result, Leather Magic! directed efforts toward new and different markets.  A great deal of marketing was centered around the consumer market.  We successfully created "Do-It-Yourself" kits that enabled consumers to perform their own repair work with results that outperform those of most "professionals" in our industry.  These kits are based upon our professional system and dramatically emphasize the ease of use and performance results that Leather Magic! product provide. These "Do-It-Yourself" products opened opportunities to begin providing our professional products and services to major automotive and furniture manufacturers and other markets which are majorly overlooked by the professional industry.  Most of these markets are purposely ignored by most professional service providers and suppliers due to the inability of the present products and systems to provide the quality results that are required.
